Christopher Pillitz published in Le Figaro
Christopher recently photographed a story about Masatsugu Okutani, a 41 year old Japanese man who leads a double life. One takes place in Paris where he enjoys working as a Marketing Manager and the other is in Japan where, if he chooses to follow his family’s tradition, is due to become the 25th generation of shintô priest. Although proud of his cultural heritage, Masatsugu feels more like a citizen of the world. Going back to the place of his birth seems difficult to him and now he stands at the crossroads of two lives which may collide.
